Roanoke County Public Schools with support from VSTE is hosting Making Connections: Southwest Regional Educational Technology Leadership Summit on Monday April 8th,  2019, at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center in Roanoke, Virginia.

This event is designed to bring together educational technology and instructional leaders from across the state for both learning and networking around issues related to cybersecurity, privacy, E-rate, infrastructure, and support for innovative instruction. This year, the theme is school safety with speakers discussing a range of safety issues from cybersecurity to building safety. Several survivors will speak to the student and parent perspective as well. Attendees will leave with both a better understanding of the issues and practical strategies for increasing their own school safety policies and procedures.
