The training is intended for school division staff that are responsible for E–rate. Even if you have a consultant do your application, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the program and network with your colleagues about E–rate. The training is also for service providers that assist schools with Category 1 or Category 2 service or equipment and want to learn more about or keep current with the E-rate program. Participants could include Chief Technology Officers, Technology Directors/Coordinators, network staff, Chief Financial Officers, school administrative support staff, and service provider staff. There is not a limit on how many staff can attend the training from each school division or service provider entity. Spaces will be provided for 50 participants.
The 8:30 to 12 pm time slot on February 2 is reserved for E–rate Beginners or anyone who wants a refresher or introduction. Anyone can attend the Beginner session. All others including participants with varying levels of expertise can attend the lunch and afternoon sessions on February 2 and the full day sessions on February 3 Choose both tickets if you plan to attend the Beginner session.Choose only the E-rate for All ticket if you plan on attending the February 2, 1-4 pm session, and the February 3, full day sessions. - Eligible E-rate Services
- EPC
- FCC Form 470
- VITA state master contracts
- FCC Form 471
- Category 2 budgets
- RFP’s
- VSPA funds
- Lit leased fiber, dark fiber, and self-provisioned fiber build projects
- FCC Form 486 and 472 BEAR
